Sree started his career in design at the first campus incubator at IIT Bombay in 1999 with RighHalf. Recently, Sree was at Google for about 8 years where led the development of Google Mapmaker other projects including non-English search, maps and personalized news. Sree founded a startup studio that helps early startups jump-start ideation and product development. He also serves as an advisor at Accel Partners working with growth-stage portfolio companies, where he uses an exclusively data-driven approach to identify and solve problems.
Sree is excited about the opportunities that natural language processing (NLP) and augmented reality (AR) technologies have thrown up and dreams of fundamentally altering the way products are built and experienced.
Sree earned his Master of Design with a specialization in Interaction Design from IIT Bombay and a Bachelor of Architecture from College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
